UPDATE: Bury St Edmunds water supply issue resolved Anglian Water say




An earlier interruption to the water supply in Bury St Edmunds has now been resolved Anglian Water have said.

This morning an issue was investigated which left some residents and homes with no water at all or very low water pressure.

An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “Due to a brief interruption in water pressure this morning caused by an issue with a pump in Bury St Edmunds we can confirm that all pressure is back to normal and any properties which lost water, or experienced lower pressure than normal, are now back on. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused to our customers.”

On their website it advises, 'even though the water is back, it may look cloudy or discoloured, but if you run your tap for a few minutes it should clear - you can find out more information about the appearance of you tap water here'.
