A 16-year-old and 34-year-old arrested on suspicion of drug dealing in Bury St Edmunds




A 16-year-old boy from west London and a 34-year-old man from Thetford were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs near the Macebearer pub in Bury St Edmunds.

The 34-year-old was also arrested for drug driving.

Police were called at around 2.20pm on Sunday afternoon of reports of drug dealing around the Macebearer pub area.

Two males have been arrested and released pending further enquiries.

The 16-year-old was arrested in Sandholme Close and the 34-year-old was arrested in Home Farm Lane.

They were both taken to Bury St Edmunds Investigation Centre where they were questioned.

They were both released pending further enquiries - any witnesses should contact Bury police referencing 68189/19.
