Dunelm in Bury St Edmunds aims to fill store staircase with Easter Eggs for the Suffolk Baby Bank

Dunelm in Bury St Edmunds has launched its Easter Egg campaign, hoping it can fill the store’s staircase with around 500 chocolate treats for charity.

The Easlea Road store retailer on the St Edmundsbury Retail Park is once again hoping to collect eggs and deliver them to the Suffolk Baby Bank.

Donors can either hand in their eggs to till staff in Dunelm or at its drop off point near to the shop’s entrance.

Charlotte at Dunelm said since this year’s appeal was launched they had already been given more than 40 eggs by customers.

She added: “We wanted to give to Suffolk Baby Bank again this year as they support the less fortunate families around Suffolk and what they do really means a lot to us here.

“We have supported them in the past with donated Easter Eggs as well as with Christmas presents given by customers to help their cause, so we hope people will really help us to hit this year’s target.”

People who want to donate eggs need to do so by Wednesday, March 20 – giving staff enough time to distribute them to the charity for Easter.

Suffolk Baby Bank, which was established in 2015, supports children and families experiencing different forms of hardship and crisis.
