Bustling weekend as thousands visit annual Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre

Bury St Edmunds is returning to normal after its busiest weekend of the year.

Thousands of visitors flocked to the town centre between Thursday and Sunday for the annual Christmas Fayre.

Fair rides, street food, arts, crafts, gifts and Father Christmas were on the agenda, alongside entertainment from local schools, bands and performers.

On Tuesday, councillors will discuss a review of the event at the West Suffolk shadow executive (cabinet) meeting.
