The Rising Sun, in Risbygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, to host Burnt Mill ‘meet the brewer’ and tap takeover event

Residents will have a chance to ‘meet the brewer’ in a tap takeover at a town pub.

The recently reopened The Rising Sun, in Risbygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, will welcome Burnt Mill Brewery on Thursday at 7.30pm.

The Ipswich-based company provides several products to the venue, notably the house-favoruite Pintle.

The event will be in the pub’s back room.

Lucy Ratcliffe, manager of The Rising Sun, said: “We’re really excited to host the team from Burnt Mill and to showcase the beers they have to offer.

“It will be a great chance for the public to meet the brains behind the beer.”

Guests can purchase a ticket for £10 from the pub which includes three thirds of the Ipswich brewer’s beer and a cold foods buffet.
