Police attend West Suffolk House in Bury St Edmunds to reports of man being verbally abusive towards staff

Police were called to a public order incident at West Suffolk Council’s headquarters in Bury St Edmunds on Wednesday.

They were alerted at 3.35pm to reports that a man was being verbally abusive towards staff at West Suffolk House, in Western Way, causing a disturbance and refusing to leave.

A spokesman said the man went outside the building.

Officers spoke with him.
