Bury St Edmunds Prezzo restaurant to reopen

A restaurant chain is to reopen its Bury St Edmunds branch tomorrow.

Prezzo, in Abbeygate Street, will welcome back customers for the first time since March.

The restaurant is taking part in the Government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which offers 50 per cent off food and soft drinks Monday to Wednesday until the end of this month.

Although recommended to cap the offer to a maximum spend of £10, the company says it isn't 'limiting this offer' so customers can enjoy 50 per cent off the entire bill excluding alcohol.

To ensure customers are safe, all menus will be disposable, there will be social distancing markers, hand sanitiser units and Prezzo restaurants are now cashless.

Karen Jones, executive chairman at Prezzo, said: "We can’t wait to welcome back our much-missed customers to Prezzo Bury St Edmunds.

"Our sole focus is to blend safe and healthy working practices with proper hospitality to give our people confidence and our customers a wonderful, enjoyable return to Prezzo."
