A twenty-year-old has denied attempting to pervert the course of justice by intimidating a prosecution witness.
On Sunday, Emily Chatters, of Coventry Way, Thetford, allegedly attended the home of someone she knew to be a witness in court proceedings and threatened them with violence to intimidate them and pervert, obstruct or interfere with the course of justice.
She pleaded not guilty at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was released on bail until January 12 with conditions including a 7pm-7am curfew, not going to an address in Thetford and not contacting emergency services except in a real emergency.
