Thetford residents’ chance to have say on tackling crime in their town
Thetford residents are being encouraged to talk to local policing teams and have their say about how crime is tackled in their community.
The Safer Thetford Action Group is having its next priority setting meeting on Thursday January 8 at the Guildhall, in the Market Place, from 7pm.
The meetings give residents the chance to raise concerns or issues about where they live, in respect of crime and anti-social behaviour, and provide the opportunity to speak to a panel of representatives from the police, council and other organisations.
The panel will then decide on the policing priorities for the coming months, which local officers and relevant partner agencies will act upon.
Anyone unable to attend the meeting can speak to an officer from the Thetford Safer Neighbourhood Team in advance by calling 101.
