Children enjoyed this year’s Theatre Royal panto, Cinderella, after winning tickets to the extravaganza in a competition run by Frames Conservatories Direct from Bury St Edmunds.

Children at 21 primary schools decorated pictures of festive baubles which were placed on Christmas trees and around the company’s Barton Road offices.

Nine children were selected as winners and as well as enjoying the show were able to meet the cast afterwards.

Adrian Lewis, company director, said he and his wife Gisela had a tough time chosing winners from a massive 550 entries.

He said: “When the entries started dropping through the letterbox we were pleasantly surprised and thought we would have enough to decorate our tree. We were astounded there were so many at the end.”
