Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds launches its pantomime poster competition ahead of production of Sleeping Beauty
The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds has launched its annual pantomime poster competition for its production of Sleeping Beauty.
Youngsters are encouraged to design their own posters for the show, using any art materials they choose.
The cast will choose two winners - one aged below nine and one over nine - whose designs will be displayed in the theatre and will be shown on the programme.
The overall winner will win a prize pack including four tickets to the show, a programme signed by the cast, a photograph taken with the cast and a professionally printed version of their design provided by Premier Printers.
The runner-up will also receive two tickets to the show.
The closing date for entries is Thursday, November 15 and they must include the artist's name, age and a contact number.
Submissions can be sent to Pantomime Poster Competition, Theatre Royal, Westgate Street, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1QR or can be dropped off at the theatre's box office.
The show runs from Friday, November 30 until Sunday, January 13.
