Teenage girl is 15th arrest in Thetford murder investigation




A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs in connection with the murder of David Lawal.

The teenage girl was arrested at an address in Haverhill this morning (Wednesday, November 13) and has been brought to Norfolk for questioning.

This is the 15th arrest in connection with the murder of 25 year old David Lawal who died in Brandon Road, Thetford, on Thursday, October 3, after suffering stab wounds.

Detectives have been working on a number of lines of enquiry to build a comprehensive picture of what happened in the hours leading up to the murder.
