Super scoop for Bury St Edmunds Sci-fi and Action Exhibition

Moyse’s Hall Museum has scooped two of the most famous outfits in movie history for Bury St Edmunds annual Sci-fi and Action Exhibition.

Christopher Reeve’s Superman costume from the orginal 1978 Superman - The Movie , will be on display, along with Arnold Scharzenegger’s complete outfit from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, from 1991.

This year’s event, between October 22 and November 13, will feature more than 100 items of sci-fi and action memorabilia, special guests, prop replicas, artwork and comics

“With both films being defining moments in the sci-fi and action genre, these are amazing additions to the event,” said Lance Alexander, St Edmundsbury Borough Council heritage operations manager.

During the opening weekend, Star Wars fans will be able to meet master prop maker, Brian Muir and Stormtrooper, Phoenix James.

Kristanna Loken’s costume, the first ever female terminator, will also be on display from the 2003 movie, Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines.
