Red Rooster Festival in Suffolk confirms it will be going ahead in September
The organisers of a Suffolk festival have confirmed it will go ahead this September, with social distancing measures in place.
Red Rooster Festival, held at Euston Hall near Thetford, confirmed this morning it would be going ahead with the planned dates of Friday, September 4 - Sunday, September 6.
It comes following the government's statement last Thursday allowing for outdoor events, as long as a 'socially distanced audience' is present.
A statement from the festival organisers said: "We are privileged to be set amongst 10,000 acres of stunning parklands and pleasure grounds at our Euston Hall home.
"This unique setting allows us to be confident we can throw this much-needed party while remaining socially distanced, and we are making additional plans to ensure the complete safety of our audience, artists, and crew."
The festival is known for showcasing cajun, soul, rock’n’roll, blues and country music.
