Stereophonics are next act for Thetford Forest gigs
Welsh rock band, the Stereophonics, are the third act to be announced as part of the Forest Live shows in Thetford Forest this year.
Since their Best Newcomer Brit Award in 1998 in acknowledgement of their debut album, ‘Word Gets Around’, they have become one of the UK’s most popular rock bands.
Top ten hits such as ‘The Bartender and the Thief’, ‘Just Looking’, ‘Mr Writer’, ‘Have a Nice Day’ and ‘Dakota’ as well as albums ‘Performance and Cocktails’, ‘Just Enough Education to Perform’, ‘You Gotta Go There To Come Back’, and ‘Language. Sex. Violence. Other?’ have continued the band's success with gold and platinum records.
The band's Forest Live performances will feature material from across their extensive back catalogue.
The Forest Live summer concert series, promoted by the Forestry Commission, already have Paul Weller and Jess Glynne coming to the venue in June.
Stereophonics and guests will be at Thetford Forest on Sunday, June 23.
Tickets are £55 (plus a £6 booking fee) and go on sale at 9am Friday, January 18, from the Forestry Commission box office.
