Bury Abbey Rotary club auctions Duxford Spitfire experience for Bury St Edmunds charities

A town’s rotary club is calling on the community to bid on its online auction which features a wing-to-wing Spitfire experience.

The auction, organised by the Bury Abbey Rotary club, is running until 10pm on Sunday, April 6.

A total of 130 lots will be up for auction, including ‘local dining experiences’.

One of the stand-out items is the wing-to-wing experience which will take place at IWM Duxford.

Nic Hardy, president of Bury Abbey Rotary, said: “Everyone has that difficult to buy for loved-one, but we have the solution.

“From clay pigeon shooting, afternoon tea, designer handbags or having a ride in a classic car, there’s something for everyone.

“Many are ‘money can’t buy’ opportunities.”

Funds raised by the auction, the fourth the club has run, will help support charities in the Bury St Edmunds area.
