Silent disco featuring pop hits of the 1990s to be held at St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds

St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds will pay host to a silent disco at the end of July, featuring a selection of pop hits from the ’90s.

The one-off event is being held on July 28, between 8pm and 11pm.

A DJ is set to entertain attendees with the hits of Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Oasis, Eminem, S Club 7 and others.

Tickets are currently on sale, although availability is limited.

Catherine Rayson, marketing and communications manager at the cathedral, said: “We’re working with the event organisers, Silent Discos in Incredible Places, to bring a new and exciting event to the cathedral.

“We haven’t hosted a silent disco before, but we’re looking forward to seeing new people in the building and the attendees discovering the beauty of the cathedral.”
