New Bury St Edmunds £1million 24-hour gym opens
A new £1million 24-hour gym has opened in Bury St Edmunds and brought 10 jobs to the town.
The Gym Group has opened the new 13,000 square feet unit in the Robert Boby Retail Park.
Inside are more than 100 pieces of high spec training equipment, including plate-loaded strength equipment, a large free weights area, Olympic lifting platforms and cardio machines.
A team of personal trainers will be on hand to offer advice and sessions as well.
Darren Wilks, general manager, said: “We’re excited to open a fantastic new gym space in the town and hope to break down any barriers to fitness people from the local community may have to help them achieve their personal goals.
“The Gym Group welcomes people from all walks of life, and with a dedicated team of personal trainers, we offer the ideal space to train, tone-up or improve overall fitness no matter who you are, your ability, shape or size.”
Members to the gym will be able to access unlimited free classes such as HIIT or circuits, and free parking is also available.
There will be 10 members of staff employed across personal training, management and cleaning.
