See inside The Bunbury Arms in Great Barton, near Bury St Edmunds, as it prepares to reopen after revamp by new landlords
With a popular pub set to reopen next week under new management and with a fresh look, SuffolkNews has been given a glimpse inside.
Keven Swales and his wife Rebecca have taken over The Bunbury Arms, in Great Barton, which has been closed since January.
Having overseen a complete refurbishment, they are due to welcome customers on Thursday, September 14 from noon. We were given a peek inside.
A new menu promises classic carveries which the pub was well-known for and classic dishes with a twist.
On Monday, Mr Swales, who was a pot washer as a teenager at the pub before enjoying a catering career and running his own construction firm, said: “We’re excited and raring to go. We just want to reopen now. I know a lot of people want to come back.”
