A1088 in Euston near Thetford closed after crash

The A1088 in North Suffolk is closed following a crash, with police urging drivers to find an alternative route.

In a statement on Twitter, Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team said the road is closed near the A1088 roundabout in Euston, near Thetford.

Images from the scene of the crash show what appears to be a lorry on its side.

They added that recovery for the vehicle is underway, although the closure is expected to be in place for some time.
