It was a ‘dream come true’ for Louise, who also lives in the village.

She said: “World of play had a wonderful day celebrating its first birthday, giving our top 50 customers a free play session to celebrate with us.

“Business has been busy and well supported with people travelling up to an hour to come and play, and with lots of returning customers, we’ve had over 3,000 families during the year.

“During the year, we have expanded to themed specials at the weekend which have been fully booked at Easter, Christmas and Mother’s Day to name a few.

“Back in January we held a fundraising day for a mum battling cancer where 100 per cent of the booking money went to raise money for treatment.

“Our SEN session has also expanded, now the last weekend of every month, and is particularly popular, offering a magical, safe and secure world of play experiences for children with additional needs run by a qualified SEN practitioner.

“As an experienced early years teacher and a mum of two, I have always been passionate about children’s play.

“I carefully designed a world where children can explore an environment full of enriching learning experiences both inside and out.”
