Police release CCTV image of man after attempted theft at Bury supermarket

Police in Bury St Edmunds have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after an attempted theft from a shop last week.

A man was seen by staff at Tesco, in St Saviour’s Interchange, believed to be in the process of trying to steal alcohol on Wednesday, December 3 at about 4.15pm.

He was then challenged and followed out of the store by staff at which point he made threatening remarks towards them.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV about this incident.

He is described as white, aged in his early 20s, and with light brown short hair. He was wearing a cream coloured jumper, blue jeans and black trainers.
