In today's podcast, a man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer after multiple emergency services were called to a railway station.
Police and the ambulance service were called to Bury St Edmunds Railway Station last night to reports of a disturbance on the platform.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of drunk and disorderly behaviour and assaulting a police officer.
Next, an inquest has heard that the circumstances surrounding the death of a missing man who was found drowned in a Suffolk river remain a mystery.
Samuel Gillett, 48, had last been seen by his family on March 27 this year but was found in the river Stour at Ballingdon Hill in Sudbury on April 13.
Meanwhile, Bury St Edmunds-based brewer Greene King is to move its distribution centre in the town to a new multi-million pound site.
The pub firm will relocate the facility, in Cullum Road, which employs about 150 people, to Suffolk Park next to the A14 on Moreton Hall next summer.
And finally, pop star Olly Murs will be performing at The July Course at Newmarket Nights on Friday, August 18, 2023.
The Essex-born artist will join previously announced Bastille, who are headlining on Friday June 30.
