SuffolkNews Podcast: Man dies after two-vehicle collision on A14 near Ipswich, as man is also arrested

Up first, a 61-year-old man has died following a collision on the A14 this morning near Ipswich with a lorry driver also arrested.

It was one of multiple collisions that led to traffic mayhem, across Suffolk this morning.

Two men were treated at the scene of a crash involving three vehicles on the A140 at Wetheringsett, between Stowmarket and Diss.

In another incident, the A1071 near Hintlesham was blocked after a three-vehicle collision and a telephone pole was brought down.

In addition, the man who died in a crash on the A14 at Coddenham on Saturday, has been revealed as 39-year-old Jason Pack, from Claydon.

Next, a Bury St Edmunds secondary school is beginning a new chapter as it reveals its new name.

Bury St Edmunds County High School, formerly known as County Upper School, was renamed after its trust - Unity Schools Partnership - decided to close its two feeder middle schools Westley and Horringer Court.

County High has created a lower campus on the site of the former Westley Middle, in Oliver Road as part of the new change.

Also, a police officer from Haverhill, described working at the Queen's funeral as an 'honour'.

Ashley Gorbutt, was one of the officers lining The Mall, which was packed full of members of the public, as the Queen's funeral cortege went past.

Mr Gorbutt, a Suffolk Police Federation member, was selected randomly to represent Suffolk Police at the historic occasion.

And finally, in Lowestoft today the world-famous Mexican-inspired restaurant, Taco Bell, opened its doors to the public.

It's the 106th restaurant of its kind to open in the UK and residents have been invited to celebrate the launch with the first 100 customers winning prizes including t-shirts and free tacos.

Taco Bell serves tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas and first came to the UK in 2010.
