Petrol prices at the pumps this week in towns including Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Newmarket, Felixstowe, Haverhill and Lowestoft
Motorists could have seen a difference when filling up recently, as the price of fuel at the pumps nationally has dropped significantly – at 134.17p unleaded and 138.85p diesel this week.
However, are we paying more or less than the average in Suffolk?
SuffolkNews conducted a survey on Thursday, using data from petrolprices.com, to see what drivers in the county are paying to fill up.
We found that on the whole drivers in the county are getting a better deal than the national picture, but you may have to take a detour to find the cheapest fuel (or avoid the priciest petrol stations in Suffolk).
