Person taken to West Suffolk Hospital after medical episode in Bury St Edmunds town centre




The ambulance service was called to a person experiencing a medical episode in Bury St Edmunds town centre this morning.

The incident was in Cornhill and two ambulances were spotted in St Andrew's Street South.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said they were called at 7.41am with reports of a person experiencing a medical episode.

They said: “We sent two ambulances and took one person to West Suffolk Hospital for further care.”

They left the scene at 8.36am.
