Crash in The Street, Coney Weston, sees person cut from car by fire crews

A person has had to be cut from a car today after a crash in Coney Weston.

Emergency services were called at around 6.30pm to The Street at the junction with Fen Road, following reports of a two-car crash.

Three fire crews from Bury St Edmunds, Thetford and Ixworth rescued a trapped person at the scene by cutting the roof of one of the vehicles.

The person was then left in the care of ambulance crews.
