Paloma Faith announces return to Thetford Forest
British singing sensation Paloma Faith has announced she will be performing in Thetford Forest in July as part of Forest Live.
The singer performed to sell-out crowds during the concert series’ seven shows in woodlands around the country in 2013.
She will be performing in the penultimate concert in Thetford Forest on Saturday July 4, before heading on to the tour’s finale in Staffordshire.
Paloma’s third album A Perfect Contradiction, her fastest selling album to date, was one of 2014’s big success stories and was certified platinum.
Last year also saw her score her first number one single, collaborating with British drum and bass duo Simga on the single Changing.
Commenting on the forest shows, Paloma Faith said: “I am so excited to do the forest tour. I did it before and had such a wonderful time.
“We are very lucky in Britain to have such a beautiful and diverse landscape and I am excited to play for you there again. See you all in the summer.”
Forest Live has been organised by the Forestry Commission for the past 14 years, raising funds to contribute towards projects for the benefit of people and wildlife across England.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday January 23 and cost £38.50 (plus a £3.85 booking fee). Call the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400 or visit www.forestry.gov.uk/music.
