Paddy and Scott's coffee goes national
Independent Bury St Edmunds coffee brand, Paddy and Scott’s, has been offered a long-term partnership with Marriott Hotels.
‘Paddy and Scott’s Fuelling Stations’ will be seen in Marriott hotels up and down the country. More than 40 hotels will be rolling out the Paddy and Scott’s coffee brand from this month.
Their coffee is grown on their own farm in Kenya, Muchomba coffee, and they ensure that every bag of coffee purchased is delivering real change and a better quality of life for the farmers. They are also investing time in the Rugia School Project rejuvenating the teaching environment and motivating the pupils.
Scott Russell, CEO and founder of Paddy and Scott’s, said: “We’ve invested our passion, time and resources; working direct with the Muchomba family and the wider community. We share their pain, joys and genuinely feel tremendous pride when we see our name over the farm entrance. We wait with bated breath for the result of the early fly crop harvest, see the results of work we’re doing at the school and the positive effect it has on the children of our farm workers.”
Paddy & Scott’s is making a serious impression on the hospitality and retail industry with business growth far exceeding initial projections.
Sean Kelly, Area Operations Director for Marriott UK, said: “The Paddy & Scott’s story really appeals. Great tasting coffee, an ethical approach to business, compostable cups and a strong brand experience.”
