The Everyman Cinema will welcome customers to its 45th venue, which will be at the arc Shopping Centre in the basement of the former Debenhams.
It will feature three screens and 228 seats, all fitted with velvet sofas and armchairs.
The new venue will operate a full bar, while food and drink can be delivered directly to customers’ seats.
An exact opening date is yet to be confirmed.
The firm has released images of how the venue will look inside.
Meanwhile, a 33,300 sq ft Primark store is to open on the ground and first floors of the former Debenhams in March.
The retailer will be recruiting more than 100 new staff.
