McDonald’s drive-through on edge of Bury St Edmunds to open on October 2 at Suffolk Business Park next to A14

McDonald’s has confirmed the opening date of its new drive-through on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds.

The fast-food chain will welcome customers to the new restaurant at Suffolk Business Park, next to junction 45 of the A14, on October 2.

Proposals for the drive-through McDonalds plus a Costa at Suffolk Business Park were given the go-ahead in March last year.

The multi-million-pound development is being delivered by Churchmanor Estates.

SuffolkNews previously reported it was expected to generate about 135 new full and part-time jobs.

Near the site is a BP petrol station with a Budgens and Greggs, which opened in December 2022.
