Leo Davies-Train relocates tattoo studio Wolf and Arrows, in St John’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, and opens under new name True Crown Tattoo

A longstanding tattoo studio has a fresh look after moving to new premises just a few metres away from its old home.

Leo Davies-Train, 37, has been running Wolf and Arrows from 57 St John’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, for almost a decade.

However, due to rising prices and his lease ending, Leo was looking for a new place.

Last Thursday, he welcomed customers to 19 St John’s Street – just a few metres away from the previous premises.

Leo said the move also gave him a chance to give the studio a fresh look, renaming his business to True Crown Tattoo.

“It has been quite nice to be able to continue my business on the same street,” he said. “St John’s is such a diverse street with so many unique businesses.

“I’ve received a really positive response from customers and from people just walking down the street and having a look in.”

Leo, who has been a tattoo artist for almost 20 years, said the move has made his business more visible and attracted fresh faces.

He added: “I’ve noticed more people who may not necessarily have put their foot through the door in the other place, pop in.

“So it’s been absolutely fantastic.”

The studio is open from 11am between Tuesday and Saturday.
