New Costa Coffee drive-thru and restaurant, off junction 45 of the A14, near Bury St Edmunds, has opened




A coffee chain’s new outlet on the fringes of Bury St Edmunds opened this morning.

The Costa Coffee drive-thru, off junction 45 of the A14 is now open for business.

It is the latest food outlet to open off General Castle Way, on Suffolk Business Park, after a McDonald’s drive-thru opened in October.

The new Costa has created 16 jobs.

A Costa Coffee spokesperson said the new coffee shop has a bright and modern feel, with indoor and outdoor seating,

“We’re thrilled to today open our first drive-thru store in Bury,” said the spokesperson. “We have hired 16 talented team members, who look forward to welcoming customers.”

The new outlet has click and collect, delivery and drive-thru facilities, as well as baby changing, disabled access and toilets and WiFi. It is open Monday-Saturday 6am-10pm, 7am-9pm on Sundays.
