Elmswell nearly new sale set to take place at The Blackbourne on Saturday March 25

A group of mums that run a toddler group in a Suffolk village are gearing up to host one of their popular nearly new sales.

The sale at The Blackbourne in Elmswell, near Bury St Edmunds, will take place on Saturday, March 25, between 11am - 2pm.

A quarter of the money raised by the nearly new sale will help to fund the Elmswell Toddler Group which runs, at the same venue, on Mondays from 10am to 11.30am.

Pre-loved items including: baby equipment, school uniform, children's clothes, toys and books will all be up for sale.

Ria Burch, secretary of the toddler group, said: "We are all a group of mums who volunteer to run the toddler group sessions.

"We couldn't do it without the help of all our regulars."

She continued: "The money we make from the nearly new sale will help us cover the costs of hiring The Blackbourne, which is the perfect space for the toddler group."

The funds raised also help to provide new toys, crafts and special sessions.

One of the committee members Claire Fordham has helped with the sale since it started in 2010.
