Bury St Edmunds stabbing: Man in stable condition after Moreton Hall incident, as police make third arrest
The victim of a stabbing outside The Moreton Hall pub in Bury St Edmunds remains in a 'stable condition' - as police make a further arrest.
Suffolk Constabulary revealed this morning (Tuesday, October 29) that a third man has been arrested after the incident on Friday night (October 25).
Officers were called to the car park outside the pub in Lawson Place at 11.35pm following reports a man had been stabbed following an altercation with four or five other men.
Police previously said the attack was 'targeted'.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was rushed to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge - where he remains in a stable condition, police have said.
Last night, a 29-year-old man from Haverhill was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where he currently remains for questioning.

Over the weekend, police made two other arrests. These were:
- A 24-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He was questioned and bailed until November 18, pending further enquires.
- A 29-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds was arrested shortly after the attack, in the early hours of Saturday. He was questioned and subsequently released under investigation.
