Mayor hosts charity golf day in Flempton

On Monday, in her last few days in office, the Mayor of St Edmundsbury, Julia Wakelam, held a golf day in support of her charities.

The event at Flempton Golf Club raised around £1,000 for Gatehouse, Defeat Dementia and Nicky’s Way.

Andrew Long, club captain, said: “We were delighted to host this event and to support these special charities.”
