Bury Town bar staff walk half marathon for My Wish charity at West Suffolk Hospital

Bar staff from Bury Town football club have raised £3 thousand for the dementia ward at West Suffolk Hospital.

Tania Fifield, Charntelle Dodd, Jules Brind, Lisa Blake, Becca Frost and Charlene Hammond walked a half marathon last Saturday, after hosting a race night at the bar in April.

Lisa said: “The girls would like to say a massive thank you to all those who sponsored and donated for their charity events.

“Charntelle the bar manager helped lots to make this all happen, we couldn’t have done it without her.”

Lisa also wanted to thank everyone that donated prizes for the race night.

The ladies chose to support the My Wish Grow Your Dough fund-raiser as Tanya Fifield works for the charity.
