Chas Thacker from Cockfield near Bury St Edmunds still missing after almost two months

A Suffolk man who vanished after telling relatives he was planning to walk a 70-mile trip home almost two months ago is still missing.

Chas Thacker, 29, was reported missing on June 15 from Tilbury in Essex.

On June 12 he told relatives he was planning to walk the 70-mile trip home to Cockfield, near Bury St Edmunds, but has not made any contact. He has no mobile phone.

He is a white, 6ft, heavy build, with short dark brown hair, a goatee beard and a tear tattoo on his face.

Police said they were concerned for Chas’s welfare.
