Chas Thacker from Cockfield near Bury St Edmunds wanted by police in connection with criminal investigation

A man from Suffolk who has not been seen in over two months is now wanted in connection with a criminal investigation.

Chas Thacker, 30, was reported missing on June 15 from Tilbury in Essex.

Three days earlier, he told relatives that he was planning to walk the 70-mile journey back to his home in Cockfield, near Bury St Edmunds. He has not been seen since.

Today, Suffolk Police has revealed Mr Thacker is wanted in connection with criminal offences.

"Officers want to speak to Chas Thacker, aged 30, in connection with investigations into criminal offences," said a police spokesperson.

"Thacker is described as a white male, 6ft tall, of heavy build, with short dark brown hair, and a goatee beard. Anyone who sees him should contact Suffolk Police on 101."
