Man taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds in serious condition after air ambulance called to medical emergency in Thurston
A man was taken to hospital in a serious condition after an air ambulance was called to a medical emergency near Bury St Edmunds.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance Anglia Two crew was spotted in a field in Barrell's Road, Thurston, at just before 10.15am.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said an ambulance, an ambulance officer vehicle and East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to a property in Thurston following reports of a man with a medical emergency.
"One man was transported to West Suffolk Hospital by ground ambulance in a serious condition," he added.
