Man taken to hospital after car overturns in Bardwell
A man has been taken to hospital after his car overturned in Bardwell this morning.
Police were called to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a Renault Clio at the Bardwell crossroads at Bowbeck, in Barningham Road, shortly after 9am.
The driver, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital as a precautionary measure as it is thought he may have sustained a minor head injury.
St Edmundsbury Police have tweeted saying the driver was ‘lucky to walk away with a few cuts and bruises’.
The road is blocked but recovery of the vehicle is underway and it is expected to reopen shortly.
