Man suffers facial injuries in assault near Flex nightclub in Bury St Edmunds

A man suffered facial injuries in an assault near a Bury St Edmunds nightclub in the early hours of Saturday.
Police were called at about 4am on Saturday, September 28 to reports that a man, in his 20s, had been assaulted in King’s Road, near Flex nightclub.
The victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
Officers arrested two men, aged 31 and 24 from Bury St Edmunds, on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both men were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and were later released whilst inquires continue.
