Man sought over abuse and criminal damage in Bury

Police are appealing for information after a man was alleged to have been abusive to the occupants of a car and damaged the vehicle in Buttermarket, Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Police say the man approached a vehicle in the Buttermarket at 4.45pm on Tuesday and was abusive to the occupants.

While doing that, the man hit the passenger and driver’s side windows and kicked the driver’s door, causing a dent.

He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, small build and with stubble. He was wearing a dark puffer jacket, jeans and a baseball cap, We was carrying a backpack with black straps and had headphones around his neck.
