Man found dead at Needham Market property after suffering serious injuries
Police are investigating after a man was found dead at a property in Needham Market.
Officers were called by the ambulance service at about 4.45pm yesterday reporting that a man had been found dead at the property in John Swain Close.
The man, aged in his 40s, had suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death of the man is currently being treated as unexplained and a cordon is in place at the property while investigations are carried out.
A neighbour, who wished not to be named, said: “Police got here at around five o’clock last night. I went to sleep at 11pm and they were still here.
“There were forensics people here and lots of police cars.
“You don’t expect something like this to happen round here - just round the corner.
“It is quite scary really.”
A police spokesman said the man would not be named until the inquest.
