Lorry crashes into ditch on A143 in Ixworth near Bury St Edmunds

A lorry crashed into a ditch on a key route overnight.

Police were called to the A143 in Ixworth, near Bury St Edmunds, at just before 2am after reports of a single-vehicle collision.

Minor injuries were reported.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue were alerted to the incident at 2.18am, but their assistance was not required.

It is not clear if a road closure was put in place.
