Leak which has flooded pavement in Fornham Road, Bury St Edmunds, next to The Tollgate pub, reported to Anglian Water
A leak which has flooded a path next to a pub in Bury St Edmunds has been reported to Anglian Water.
Water has been gushing from the pavement next to The Tollgate, in Fornham Road, for more than a week.
The area of the path is flooded and was cordoned off this morning.
The ‘report an issue’ section on the Anglian Water website shows a leak was logged on Thursday, March 7.
It was registered as ‘in progress’.
Meanwhile, residents in nearby Bell Meadow have been left with little or no water due to a burst main.
An Anglian Water spokesperson said its teams were on site to fix a burst main in the area and were planning to complete the works by the end of today.
The teams are investigating further to see if the two issues are related, they said.
