The Three Horseshoes pub in Barrow, near Bury St Edmunds, set to reopen in February after refurbishment
A popular village pub has shut its doors and is set to be refurbished ‘inside and out’.
Antony Brazier, who took over as landlord at the Three Horseshoes, in Barrow, last year, is excited about the revamp - which started on Sunday.
He said: “Trade has been very good since I have taken over, with food covers increasing week on week.
“I have made so many new friends with the locals and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the enjoy the band beergut100 on February 1.”
Mr Brazier, who has previously worked in venues in Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill, said: “The pub will be completely redecorated inside and out and there will be a new outdoor dining area.
“I’m very excited for customers to come and see the new look a new food menu will be launched in the springtime along with new drink offerings.”
