Two eternity rings were among items taken from a Stowmarket house during a robbery earlier this month.

The incident occurred at about 10pm on Friday, September 7 when a man in his 50s opened the door to his property in Osprey Drive to find three men wearing balaclavas and gloves.

The men pushed their way past the victim before punching him in the face and threatening him with a knife. They also assaulted a friend of the victim, a man in his 40s, in the face.

One victim then left the house while the other, who was washing his face, heard the men going through kitchen drawers.

Items of jewellery, including Bering mens' watches and white gold eternity rings with baguette diamonds were taken from the house.

Witnesses are asked to contact Bury St Edmunds CID on 101, quoting crime reference 37/51658/18. Alternatively contact the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
