The Dutch House win heat three of BurySOUND 2025 at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds

An indie-pop quartet has earned a place in the grand final of a town’s music competition as excitement builds for the big event with only two heats remaining.

The Dutch House, based in Soham, has been crowned the winners of heat three at this year’s BurySOUND music competition held at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds.

Performing alongside Jorts, Lava Pigeon, Splinters, and The 07s, The Dutch House impressed both the crowd and the judges to claim their place in the grand final at The Apex on Saturday, April 12.

The night featured a headline performance from Femme Dé while the judges deliberated on what was the second-longest deliberation in the competition's 27-year history.

The winning band will now join heat one winners Krumpets and heat two winners Bi-Neural in the grand final, with two heats still to go.

Heat four will kick off tomorrow night at The Hunter Club with performances from Bella Ross, Doll Face, Fortunate Fools, Hear Me Out and Hltherealist alongside guest headliners Flat Venus.
