The Northgate in Bury St Edmunds to suspend bar and restaurant business due to rising utility costs

A Bury St Edmunds hotel and eatery is suspending its bar and restaurant business due to the rise in utility costs.
The Northgate, in Northgate Street, has revealed that it is having to adapt its operations as a result of the 'escalation in utility prices'
From October 5, it will continue to operate its rooms and breakfast, but will suspend the bar and restaurant business which operates Wednesday to Sunday.
A spokesman said: "All guests are being contacted and we will of course be honouring pre-booked exclusive use events."
